Has been actively associated with various projects of Rotary International and Rotary Club of Delhi Midtown like Polio Immunization Campaigns and also all the activities of the Community Service in the profession as well as Rotary.

 

Having a flare for community service takes keen interest in arranging free Dental check-up/treatment camps for various philanthropic, charitable and social groups, schools and J.J.Clusters in and around Delhi and also providing care and oral hygiene facilities to the residents of re-settlement colonies and the villagers at their door-steps through the Mobile Dental Clinic run by Rotary Club of Delhi Mid Town and also through Rotary’s Free Hospital being run at Trilokpuri, a re-settlement Colony in Delhi.

 

Have had the privilege of imparting free dental health education to the school children of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi through a project known as SeHAT run in collaboration with the Indian Dental Association, Appropriate Health Resources   &   Technologies   Action   Group (AHRTAG) of U.K. and the National Council of Education Research & Training (NCERT).

 

Also contributed in conducting a clinical study sponsored by a globally renowned Dental Company to assess the efficacy of  different types of tooth-pastes on bacterial plaque on the surface of teeth which leads to onset of gingivitis.

 

In order to assess the nature, extent and trends of oral health problems facing the population in India and to help plan and recommend strategies to eliminate them, partook in the conduct of  Survey on Oral Health.

 

Have also to her credit publication of a few articles on Oral Health, also having attended professional Seminars, Workshop, Conferences both within India and abroad on many occasions.
