Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry (1993)

Dr. Bali has been the Founder President of Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry for the last 13 years and continues to be its President.  The Association was founded by Dr. Bali  with the object of popularizing and promoting the study of Public Health Dentistry and Preventive Dentistry in India; educating the public for improvement of oral health; promoting and safeguarding the interests of the dental profession; exchange with dental practitioners in India and abroad the methods for improving the practice of public health dentistry, among others.  Under the guidance of this Association several  Health Camps have been and are being arranged to educate not only the professionals but the public at large.  This has created awareness in the minds of the community for the upkeep of their dental health which is of utmost importance  to maintain  general health.

International College of Continuing Dental Education (ICCDE) Asia Pacific Dental Federation / Asia Pacific Organization : (APDF/APRO) (2008)

Its objectives are  -

 

To advance the science and art of dentistry for the health and welfare of the public, internationally;

 

To endeavor to bring together outstanding members of the dental profession of the work for the purpose of fostering the growth and diffusion of dental knowledge and to encourage an exchange of good will among members of the profession.

 

To maintain and elevate the dignity of the profession by the maintenance of the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct by its members.

 

To recognize conspicuous and meritorious service to the profession and stimulate continuing efforts directed to the attainment of the objectivwes of the College by providing a method of granting fellowship in the College.

 

To initiate measures that would promote the social well-being of the members’ social communication.

 

To serve the Asia Pacific Dental Federation / Asia Pacific Regional Organization (APDF/APRO) in all scientific matters and continuing dental education programme.
